Year 09 resolutions.

Firstly,Hmm, needless to say, i still need to grow up more. Be more calm, be less hot-tempered cause my recklessness nearly cause an accident today. I'll never forget what happen, especially that it happens on the last day of 08. Like what shifu says, whatever the thing is, must ren. Well, gotta work on being more calm and less hot-tempered in the coming years.

Second, study hard, play hard, at the appropriate time.

Thirdly, get myself attached? (seems impossible at time, but it is possible...)

FRIday

Drove papa and mei mei to NTU for lunch. Papa wanna take a look at how NTU has change ever since he graduate from NTU. Well, 2nd, is to access my driving skill, and see whether i know how to drive to NTU.

After that, went home, and then met up with Chingseng and AL at a later time to have dinner and chit chat. As usual, the 3 of us, can't stop making nonsensical jokes. Before we reach our destination, all of us are tired from laughing, especially with AL, playing with the CJ7 plushie on Chingseng's car and making it do dance and provoking other drivers. Haha.

Sure been quite some time 3 of us met. Haha. I look forward to the next meeting again, and the music of our laughters. Haha.

SATurday

Let's see. Went out with Seng Hong to look at the new block of Jurong Point. Then went home, and then out again to wushu. Was nervous driving dad's car on my own. A lot of wild drivers out there, cutting into lanes. Well, do drive safely. The public road is for travelling, not for racing.

Learnt lion dance today, but that is not the valuable lessons. The valuable lessons is always the life experience of shishu. Shishu told me that in life, we shouldn't "gei gao". Shouldn't compare bah i think. Like what Bobby say ( upper study of mine when i got permanent attach to a unit as a 3rd sergeant), in Delta company, don't compare. You compare, your life will sucks a lot. I compared and indeed, i start getting sour grapes on why am I always working while others are slacking. In the end, it did cause some harm to my colleagues and me. Like what shishu said to me while i was driving him to the bus-stop. He say example, if next time AL earn more than me, i shouldn't go compare and gei gao. When jealousy arrives, emotions arises and hell break loose.

Well, another life experience learnt. Whether i will learn from it just by listening, I don't know. In the end, it's words of wisdom from the elders and it should be worth thinking about it.

Oh, Al told me "gei gao" in english should be calculative. Haha. I don't know...maybe you all can let me know what "gei gao" actually means in english. Haha.

This christmas wasn't the best christmas. My music circuit fail to work, the zipper on my clothes met with problems. It just frustrates me to no end. Well, i do hope 2009 brings about a better year than 2008.

Oh well, guess i gonna get another new music circuit as i got no idea where and what went wrong after numerous checks. Maybe i could have damaged the IC or the speaker by mistake...ZZz...

As a friend says, failure is the mother of success...we shall see...we shall see...

Anyway, went out with qz and al on christmas itself. As usual...3 musketeers roaming the streets of the city area. Firstly, i went to collect my passport, then to sim lim to get that circuit and finally walk around city area, from bugis to dhoby ghaut, somerset then orchard road. After that, met up with AL's sis and sis-in-law and we all went home together. Well, not forgetting the long walk from somerset to bugis as AL park his car at sim lim tower. Haha.

This year christmas...sure is boring.

SATurday

Garung Guni!! Nah. We didn't shout that. More of like we just went around knocking on doors. A relatively quiet mission. Every job is not easy, and i have tasted on how tough the garung guni job is. Things have been simpler in this case as we work as a team, however, the garung guni is a 1-man show. Doing everything by himself.

We had competitors too. The Garung guni and some canoeing club from some JC. Well, but well, the main comm manage to do something about it and we are down to business. Collections of old clothings and old newspapers.

At 4.30pm. We packed up and went back home. I bathed and i just lie on my bed, waiting for time to pass, before i met AL up again to go AMK for wushu.

Today, we didn't do much at wushu training. Instead, most of the time spent is used to discuss with shifu about the current situations of Wai Woo, the future goals and our current plans. AL and I also get some training forlion dance as we need a team to go out to perform during CNY day 2 to canvass some funds for our club. I'm starting to get interested in lion dance liao. Haha.

SUNday

It's dong zhi today. Went over to grandpa's house for dinner. Went back home during late afternoon and start an area cleaning for my room. 2 hours later, area cleaning done. 1 less room in my home to clean. Hoorah!

Hmm...it's been 1 and a half week since i last contact her....hmmmmm......

TUESday.

Went exploring around in AL's car. Me, AL, Fang fang and QZ. Go Mount Faber, then Yishun dam, next to changi beach to cycle for 2 hours, dinner at changi village. Sweet treats at west coast and then supper at bukit timah. What a journey...Luckily there's people to share cost of fuel money, or else......ZzZzZ

WEDnesday

Played badminton, then basketball today. Maybe i need to fork out money for my badminton rackets.

THURSday

Got bored of gaming. End up cleaning my desk and cupboard. Was happy at the result of it. Found extra shuttlecocks. Slap myself on the forehead as i bought a dozen of shuttlecocks just for yesterday's badminton game. ZzZ. $26...Zzzzz...never mind. I better keep it in a place where i can see it easily.

FRIday

Went out to watch the movie, Ip Man with AL, CH, JL, Wei Xin and YD. Beautiful fighting scenes. After that, lest CH, we all discuss about wai woo's plans to bring back the glory days. Either we carve a beautiful comeback or we just gain the experience in running a club. It's all up to fate, destiny and our decisions.

Gotta sleep early. Tomorrow gotta help my cca do canvassing(sai-kang) to raise funds for the orientation camp next year.

Sat, sun. Restless days. Only went out on saturday night for koon san's 30th anniversary dinner.

MONday, same thing. Tried some training regime today. Ran 3 rounds, around the park. I nearly can't complete 3 rounds, and to think i used to be able to endure 6. My physical fitness have drop. Well, i need to train up and clear my IPPT.

I'm so bored...zzz.

Just now gotta deal with some issues regarding my wushu club. Had an arguement with some JL and AL. Emotions ran high, took over rational thinking and results went catastrophic. Could it be the fault of msn conversation, that me and him always mistook each other words and turn out angry? This isn't the 1st time. And again, this is the 1st time both me and JL got so angry with each other. Ever since NS, my relations with JL ain't that smooth. Reminds me of how Mingli and Jacob has been during secondary school. Today here, i think i roughly recap what's the situation, get it into my head before i take any actions or say anything.

Recently, our club has always lack in strength. It's malu enough that we have to turn to mercenaries to cover up our strength for lion dance. Once mercs finish their business, shifu will pay them. Other clubs, somehow manage to have better strength.

In an attempt to save the current strength, AL and I tried creating new training routines to keep students feeling more interested to train up. From what i understand from AL, JL's dream is to revive wai woo. But it ain't an easy task. We need fresh blood to commit. JL has helped to pulled numerous students to wai woo. Minyee, Keith, Sheila, Ivan, Daniel, Jia Jie, Ah Ben, Wei xin and most probably Ying Sian. From these, some have left the club due to their personal reasons.

The solution to counter problem like "lack of strength" surfaces, especially when ah liang, shifu's son insulted ah ben and wei xin, especially for wei xin's current wushu club. As a result, JL isn't happy and both he and wei xin has plans for revenge. Besides that, it has been said that ah liang insult and the way he talks to people make many potential student shunt from the club. About ah liang, forgive me but i can only say he abnormal in his thinking.

JL felt that with ah liang's existance in the wushu club, it could mean that less students, less reputation for wai woo. Solutions appear and somehow, me, ain't that supportive. For once, i've grew tired of such business and don't want a hand in it. But somehow, i was pulled inside into this issue. My concern is that ah liang is shifu's son, what can we do about it. And I kinda support what shifu say, just ignore ah liang. Saying is hard as JL and wei xin couldn't ignore.

Let me revise my points again that ah liang could be the factor that seems to cause problems in our club's strength.

Whatever it is, this saturday, JL, AL and me will talk to shifu about this issues. We'll highlight what happen and see whether solutions can be made.

Regarding what JL said about shifu saying he's disappointed in us not learning things, i got pissed off there la, i should have calm down but i let my emotions run again. I hope i have better control in the future.

I don't know whether to wash my hands off everything or take up the challenge in attempting to make the club a better club for everyone.

I got a friend who want to realise his dream, so shouldn't I as a friend help him attain his goal when he needs me help? I should because he's my friend and he treat me as a friend.

Ok la, 1st step, AL, JL and me, we gonna talk to shifu about this issue. It might not work out but at least we take a 1st step. The 1st step to help JL reach his dreams.......

MONday

Hmm, today we got gathering at wan ting's house.

We played dai dee. I don't quite know how to play, so had to go through some crash course. Played until 7.30pm. The 2nd game was like all cards were faced down. And each card being picked up will bring about some activities. Like drinking of water, eating of food, truth or dare...etc...

Well, play and play until 11pm plus. Gotta go back early as next day gotta wake up early for the senior's camp.

TUESday

Woke up late. Went there late. What a surprise when i got chosen to be the MGL(Main group leader). I was never good at leading. I always preferred the role of the 2nd in charge, doing supporting roles to the in-charge. Oh well, job's given, gotta play ball.

Not much to say about the activities, we are just like the guinea pigs, we are there to test-run the games. We give our feedbacks and then we were dismiss at the end of the day. What matters most for tuesday is the bonding session. To work well in the CAC FOC camp, we need to know each other better. That's why i decided to go for the senior's camp.

After everything, ah qing, al, wingki, wanting, alvin ho and me went for dinner together before we parted ways.

Sometimes, don't go and assume things. Ask PROPERLY before making a conclusion. >.<

FRIday

Let's see what did i do on friday. Hmm...Oh ya... How can i forget. Damn, it took me 3 minutes to think through. I WENT SENTOSA with the Valus-ians. The peeps who turn up were Wanting, Wingki, Yongfu, Alvin Ho, Clarence, Chin wee and me. We learnt to play frisbee and play some ball games. Left at 5pm. I had to head over to wu guan to help out with some sai kang.

Due to the rain, the flags have to be place on saturday. We end up polishing weapons and prepare some stuff. After that, went home and sleep. Saturday will be the BIG day.

SATurday

Woke up in the afternoon. After a tasty lunch cooked by mama, AL and I went over to wu guan. Set up these, set up that. Lots of conflicting instructions, as lots of people acting indian chief including myself. Got damn damn pissed off. In the end, my cooldown mechanism within myself activates and after the cooldown, i decided to wash my hands off everything.

This year anniversary, there are wushu performance and singing by some not so famous singers. There's also bian lian show and some more singing by people in frankenstien and clown costume. This year performance is interesting, but somehow, the wushu performance lacks variety from our own group. Weapons like shuang dao and jiu huan da dao were not featured. But to make up for these, we have weapon dui da and san ren dui da, and quan ti jing li in which all of us involved do some patterns each.

San ren dui da, i should have psycho shifu that it's not ready. San ren dui da don't seems spectacular enough. Well, what's done cannot be undone, so I'll take this san ren dui da as a sneak preview for everyone.

Performance ended. Apparently, there's someone who gives order and sit 1 side shake his leg. Next time, as a senior member, do not ever do this. You'll lose the respect of your juniors. Hmm, this someone, don't earn my respect. Never.

After the performance, went to help keep the stores at wu guan, and then have a gathering at a nearby coffee shop before we call it a day.


SUNday

Argh...i can't remember what I did on sunday. Lemme think......Oh ya, ok, this took 2 minutes.

Met AL up and help to teach yunling and angeline a.maths. Basic differentiation. Somehow, my favourite topic. Gave them a crash course on it. Hopefully they remember and become better in basic differentiation. Had to thanks their yunling's mum for the pizza meal. Hmm, don't really like to own so well, maybe one day will treat yunling and jiajie back. Haha.

Finish the lessons, went over to chu hui "shi jie" house to help fix her com. Apparently, she messed up the wire connections to her modem. Also help to set up the wifi network in her home so she can access internet through her laptop if her desktop is being used. Went through a bit of trouble to fix things up and my temper nearly took control of my brain. Luckily i suppress it. Luckily.

Well, after al and I were done with the internet stuff. Thought we could go back home as it was late. Nearly went to the car and then gotta go up to chu hui's house again to help set up the PRINTER SYSTEM!! Nearly got pissed off for the 2nd time as i was thinking, why can't she tell me straightaway earlier on that she needs help with her printer. Never mind, lan lan suck thumb. Volunteer for the job, finish the job.

Set up the printer and then went back home and sleep.

Cya, nitez!!...

Yesterday night, I could not fall asleep. For some personal reasons. Toss and turn. Toss and turn. I wonder how many sleepless nights i will have. Perhaps, when my personal problems fade away, i might be able to sleep well again. I thought that i would stay awake the night throughout.

But I guess i end up sleeping at 4am or later in the end. AL and JL. I wonder how you all felt at that point of time when you met with that "particular situation". Sucks eh? Nothing can be done. It's life, shit happens.

Whatever it is, had to wake up at 8am to go school and settle the time-table. End up feeling very groggy when ah qing called me. If not, I guess i would not have woke up.

Time-table. Mine was a success. No hiccups. But sad that AL have problems with his submission, so we end up being in different tutorials although initially, we planned to put the same. Oh well.

Would love to stay at home. But oh well, agree to go out with some friends so gotta hold that agreement.

It's life, shit happens.......................

Today, me and AL got pulled by JL to meet bel and eunice. Was suppose to meet them at dover mrt station. End up gotta meet them at nuh. Reach nuh and saw them queueing up to take shuttle bus out of nuh. Well, take it as a shuttle bus trip.

After that, they say go AMK! I turn -_- . never mind bah. Enter pirate ship liao, must give face to JL lo. So toot toot follow. Go there eat mac, play pool then go home. Ok la, at least stay away from the com.

Hmm, i gotta take my ippt before 25 Nov 09. Guess i should train up during dec and clear it, claim that $200. Haha.

Tomorrow, sentosa trip with the EEE friends. Friday sentosa trip with valus friends. Next week tuesday sentosa trip again for the 3rd time with CAC GLs.

Well, thought i couldn't make it but a shift of schedule, makes me being able to join the trip on friday. Just that i gotta leave early to settle the wushu performance stuff. Friday should be a shag day.

Oh well...time to sleep...ZzZzZ

Weekends.

Sat - Went with papa and his friend to the toyota showroom at leng kee. Got to take a look at the Vios and Corolla Altis. After that, went home and prepare to move out to go wushu. The last training before performance starts. JL brought 2 friends over, ah ben and wei xin. Finally, we have settled the special performance that we wanna do and we will need to rehearse it on a weekday again.

Due to the fact that we have been focusing on all the performance stuff, we have slack down on our training. The week after dec 6, i guess i should introduce tougher training. Of course, one step at a time that is. Haha. Will plan out some training routines after the performance.


Sun - Ma's birthday. Went out to eat lunch. Then went back home, and go down to clubhouse to learn a bit on lion dance. Wei xin, ah ben, JL, AL, me and a girl(don't know what name) were there to learn and train. Don't think lion dance is easy. It's tiring, especially if you are the one doing the lion's head. Well, i do hope i'll go for more training, so i manage to perform better during the CNY season. Haha.

Evening, went over to meet jinhua, ken and ah qing for dinner. Haha. Actually, me and AL were the ones who were late, but we turn everything around and blame it on jinhua, went actually came the earliest, went ntuc walk walk and become the latest to appear at the meeting point. Since the start of the meeting, Ken, AL and myself keep shooting and shooting that jin hua should pay. It lasts for 1 and a half hours or even to 2 hours. All 5 of us sure have a laugh of our lifetime and i guess i was very mean. Haha.

After dinner, went down to a park for a walk. End up playing like a kid at the playground and physical fitness station. Haha. Sure fun to be a kid as i let myself run and play around wildly. Unleashing the kid within me. Haha. Miss my childhood days as a kid, whereby you are not worry by any forms of troubles. =D

Weekends sure is busy, and now i must go discuss with my peers about what activities we are having this weekend. Cya...
