Woke up...with a running nose. Had a nice breakfast, prepared by mum. Sausages, tuna bread, eggs, hash brown.

Went out at around 11am, met up AL, and drove over to pick JL at hsi home, then go over to AL's san yi's house. Reach there, met up with AL's "yi zhang". His "yi zhang", cause of job, decided to get a van, and sell his car. Today is the day his car will be sold, but his petrol is still at full, so he ask us to spent the petrol, try to spent as much as possible. By the way, his car is a Honda City, equipped with VTEC engine. Before, we take his car for a spin, he shows us his car, and explain the VTEC engine. Seems like the VTEC is activated once the rpm hits 4500 and above, which sees an increase in speed at a higher rate. AL's yi zhang's driving skill is damn good.

Had to rush back to AL's home, to pick AL's sis and future bro-in-law to the airport. Can be seen that AL's and my driving kinda become a bit more rough. Later had lunch at Changi airport, terminal 2 mcdonalds. Being a Singaporean, i realise i haven't seen much of changi airport, remember that the last time i was at changi airport, i was only around 6,7 years old.

Later on, decided to go for a spin again. Was kinda boring, so decided to go find xinge and say hello, she wasn't contactable when we reach her house void deck. Then decided to go over to SAFRA Yishun to take a look around. Played the arcade as well. Rock climbing seems interesting, but, i got no time to take a course in rock climbing. When leaving, i start to feel sianz again.

Well, time for us to go home, but had to go AL's yi zhang's house to return the his car, and send JL home also. While driving past yio chu kang mrt station, JL's eyes was so sharp enough to see Huiying leaving the church. JL's request i make a u-turn to let him see Huiying. He sure became high at that moment.

Later send JL home, then drove over to AL's yi zhang's house. His yi zhang told us just now he drove AL's car, he say AL's car is actually quite good too, but don't know why we keep saying it's weak. He took us for a spin and we get to see his driving skills again. Seems like we didn't "zham" much on the accelerator and didn't drag the gear longer enough to fully utilise the engine. After that, went home. Can see AL's driving become more rough, and can also visualise that AL's car seems to be more powerful. Next time, anything on cars, can ask Al's yi zhang.

Well, back at home now, feeling sianz. Book in is early today, at 8pm. Maybe today, as an exception, might decide to leave home at 7.30pm, and take a cab to the meeting point which is at jurong point.

Will be at tekong from mon to thurs, so sms sent will only be replied by thurs night...(i suppose)...

Anyway, look forward to saturday again...hope got fri night book-out...=D

( AL's yi zhang car sure is nice to drive. Even though the car is not mine, felt a bit of heart pain when his car will be sold away. )

Still feeling suay...

Finally, i'm about 60% through my course, i have been complaining and sucking thumb all the way till here. 1 more month, and i graduate from the course. Looking forward to that.

Due to the lack of sleep, and being drench in the rain, i'm here sick again. Running nose...wonder whether i have a fever, pretty hard for me to detect slight fever, even at 37.7 degrees celsius, i felt normal. Pretty angry at what happen back at camp. Perhaps a culture shock? As it's the 1st time i ever slept only 1 hour, or rather the first time midnight oil is burned. Now my plans have been spoiled again and i'll have to postpone it.

Reach home at 1pm yesterday, then from 3.30pm slept to 6pm. Went to wushu later on, despite the illness, decided to train a little. Was doing well on "tan tiao". Didn't join in fully with the warm-up though. Taught Minyee da peng quan...she learnt about 75% of it already, up till now, hopefully can finish it before CNY comes. After that, starting to feel better. Shifu start teaching new things, me, AL, and JL was involved in a 3 man fight. I was initially the one guy, facing off with other 2, but later, the position was change to JL...don't know for what reason. Huiying was there when shifu start teaching us, and i fear myself accidently kena hit up badly by JL, as he was hot on fire.

There is a chinese teacher also here to teach "bei pie" things. Learnt about techniques on "tan tiao" from him, then later on, ask shishu to continue teaching me the hk jiu huan da dao. The rest think was learning some butterfly kick or something from the "bei pie" teacher. Finish learning the hk jiu huan da dao, and shishu also send me the video of the person teaching him the hk jiu huan da dao. Seems like some steps were missed out, but nevertheless, quite happy to learn finish, and have a video as a back-up in case i forgot. AL and JL will learnt a quan, also taught by the hk master to shishu. Shishu wanted to teach us quickly as he scare he forgot the moves.

About the "bei pie" things, i think the teacher might be coming regularly. I myself will not try to get involve too much. Reminds me on back then, when xiao lao shi comes. Perhaps the mistake he made was teaching too slowly. Even after 1 yr of teaching, i remember the 4 duan dao i learn, i only reach up to 70%. Besides, that time, i got a weak stamina, and after finish his training, left little energy plus little time to train up zhou jia quan. In the end, for 1 year, my development on zhou jia quan was slow, and thinking back, i felt that i wasted 1 year. 2nd thing is that, my body has become stiff, and it takes a damn long time to do well in "bei pie", or maybe i'll never do well in it. Maybe it's also because of age matters, as i learn them quite late in my teen life. 3rdly, i felt that their movements is not useful for combat fighting, unlike zhou jia quan, so prefer zhou jia quan.

If, this time round, i am asked to join the "bei pie" class, i will say no. Even with training on saturday, i find that time is not enough to let me practise finish all the quans i learnt in 1 training session. Besides, my interest is in zhou jia quan. Say one must learn to say "NO", even when you are force to do something.

Went home and slept at around 1.30pm.

sunday night...same old shit again...

This morning, slack at home all the way to 2pm. Then go out with AL to meet up with JL. Went Junction 8 after that to jalan jalan...About 5,6pm, drove JL home then went back hometown. Went for a haircut...then went home, bath, eat and slack till now. Typical sunday life since my life as a sispec trainee starts.

If next fri got book-out, i gonna get my new year goods on the saturday. If sat morning, then also can, but preferably fri night.

As usual, I look forward to saturday.

Things i kinda want?

Hmm...since i started to earn some allowance, always thought of things i wanted...

Wanted list:
1) Xbox360
2) PS3
3) 32" LCD TV
4) Newer technology phone ( either palm phone/ 3G)
5) Better computer to support gaming purposes
6) DV(Digital Video) Handycam

For number 1 and 2, xbox360 and ps3, yes...wanted to try out the lastest games but...do i have the time? Weekdays are always spent in camp for now and weekends are so precious, to go out with friends, and my wushu. Decided to wait till i'm able to at least come home everyday, wait till i'm more free then i can consider.

Number 3, LCD TV is to have a better gaming experience while playing console games like xbox360 and ps3. From the above paragraph, i won't be getting the xbox360 or ps3 any time sooner, so LCD TV will also have to wait. Besides, it's not cheap also. Perhaps must wait till i get a permanent job in my field of specialty, then i am able to get one.

Number 4. Newer technology phone ( either palm phone/ 3G). Mostly comes with a camera, and i would want it to come with a camera if it does not have one. Camp don't allow us to have camera phones brought into camp, so have to carry those non-camera phones. Since most of the days in a week are spent in camp, camera phones are left at home. If i were to buy one palm phone or 3G phone, it seems worthless as i bought it to decorate my table, rather than fully utilising its functions. So, palm phone/3G phone will have to wait.

Number 5. So far, my com has been giving my problems. If it's due to hardware issues, perhaps time for a change. But, to fuel my gaming purposes, i will go for higher ends products, but as the above paragraph states, i have very little time for gaming, so it's worthless to get a good pc now.

Number 6. I thought of getting a DV(Digital Video) handycam. Firstly, i can record down any interesting events done with friends, be it parties, organised activities or whatsoever. Besides that, i can use it for wushu to record down the moves and go home and watch it. Also acts as a storage in case we forgot our moves, so we can watch it and memorise them. It can also be video live! and then show it to everyone, to reflect the mistakes made during the moves.

From what i think...i might aim to get a DV handycam first. It's not cheap though and i don't know how to get a good one. Will need to do some research if i really want to buy.

Wushu...flip flip flip...

Had to lead the training as shi xiong was in Thailand working. Although AL wasn't feeling well, he came over to pass his aunt some things and to do some light activities. He lead the warm-up, after that, i lead the jogging. Due to my negligence, i thought keith and daniel was fooling around behind, and shouted "OIE" at them. Later realise that daniel couldn't keep up with the pace. I apologise to them for what i have done and explain my reasons for doing so. Learnt a lesson here, get things correctly before coming to a conclusion, and especially in jogging situation, learn to know whether your man is lagging behind and try to encourage him to maintain his current pace. Keith, Daniel, I'm sorry...

Also told Ivan, Sheila, Daniel and Keith to voice out if they are not feeling well, and especially during jogging, one should look out for one another and inform the person leading about it. Hmm...another lesson learnt? lol...

Xinge lead the stretching exercise and the ji ben gong, and i lead the kicking exercise. Yao de lead the ji ben quan and woot...he's improving, having more confident in himself. Ji Liang was the person to lead bian da quan.

Train and train and train. Shuang dao, jiu huan da dao. Taught xinge a bit on hook kick. Have to thanks alvin for spending some time to teach zhicong, guess next week, it's my turn to cover it up for him, so he will be able to have more time to train.

After ivan, keith, sheila and daniel left, we play around, trying to do the flip, think is call "tan tiao", whereby a person lying down on the floor, trying to flip himself upright to standing position. Well, me, xinge, AL, yao de, JL all practise and practise. We all had fun, and well, we improve on the flip, being able to flip up...but all of us have probems landing on our feet. Nevertheless, it's good that we actually start to grab hold of the skill and with more practise, i'm sure all of us will be able to grasp the technique.

Minyee wasn't present as she was sick. AL and Yao de wasn't feeling good either. Well, take care and get well soon. ;)

Field camp starting...dreaded getting in the jungle, forest, grass whatever. But always like the things taught on chiong sua. Well, will look forward to end of field camp, and look forward to next saturday.................and also...look forward to wushu lessons...lol...

Hmm...time for bed. Gotta sleep...Nitez...

Hmm...IPPT results for last week IPPT

Sit-ups: 45 - 5 points
Standing broad jump: 243cm - 5 points
Pull-up: 12 - 5 points
Shuttle run: 10.1 s - 5 points
2.4km run: 10.24 mins - 4 points

Seems like i improve on my running, or rather more of like i force myself to run. Well...1 step closer to gold...=D

Had slight fever back on tues night, last all the way till wed afternoon. A buddy of mine...Trevor fell down the stairs for the 3rd time. His knee was already giving him problems and he was walking around with clucthes. Should have escort him down from my bunk( 4th level) to the ground level., then none of these would have happen. Felt guilty over it...luckily, his head, hand and butt injuries wasn't that serious...but his knee injury kinda got worse. Hope he'll get well soon.

Friday, had nights out and came back home to look and talk with my family, bath and wash some of my clothes.

Well, 5 more weeks and i will graduate...hang on...

More sianz

Took a cab back from wushu.

Everything is a rush. Since the day i enlist, everyday, i am being squeeze by time. Not enough time, not enough time. Due to my commitments to wushu, sat nights will always be busy. Sunday is a rest day, and sunday evening, will be a period of depressing time.

Anyway, start wushu early. Al and I were the 1st to reach. The rest reach at around 8.15pm. Shi xiong will be going to thailand to work soon so i ask him to write down the steps of warm-ups and basic fundamentals in a notebook, and then ask al to distribute to everyone after he made copies of it.

Practice hong kong jiu huan da dao, and shuang dao. Taught Minyee da peng quan...(hope she rememebers...) and taught Xinge hook kick...(she's clever, so she'll figure out the technique fast...)....

Well, next week, Shi Xiong will be in Thailand, so i guess AL or I or Xinge will be conducting the warm-ups. Anyway, i'm pretty lazy so decided to come out with the system whereby everyone gets a chance to lead the warm-ups, basic fundamentals and ji ben plus bian da quan. Good leadership training i guess...hahaha

well..time to sleep...cya next sat

(hope tues got nights out...although i doubt there will be any...hope sat got early bookout...which might be possible if things go smoothly...)

Sianz

sianz ar...only got less than 24 hours to enjoy before i get back in camp.

Got duty tomorrow so have to report in the morning. Went straight to my aunt's house to borrow their heater and washing machine so i can dry my clothes faster after washing. Have to thanks them for that.

Well, guess later going to wushu, and leaving wushu training early. Sianz...I just want more time...zzz

Sunday...morning

Slack through the whole morning...then went to watch a movie with Mingli. Watch the curse of the golden flower. Nice props...armour looks cool. Feel like owning one. Sad to say, the story is confusing and boring. Watching the film with a big question mark on my head. The movie wasn't able to attract me to focus and my mind keep flying off to somewhere else.

Later went to popular get my permanent marker, then went to a barber shop to have my hair-cut. Hairstyle is named...four-three-two-one. Cost me $8.

Went back home and start to slack...waiting for 2130 hrs, whereby i'll go out and take a bus to boon lay bus interchange and book in to my camp...=(

Well, I hope there's a fri night book-out, or if no fri night book-out, at least a night off so can go home and bring some clothes home to wash as well. Sunday morning had to book in as i am duty-bounded for that day.

At home again.

My luck don't seems so good at the beginning of the year. I don't know why. Every situations i encounter just wasn't...erm...nice.

Reach home at 2.30pm. Go home, as usual, touch my pc, then bath and try to get some nap but failed to. At 5.30pm. Met up with AL to go Yishun SAFRA to redeem my free gift. Gave quite a number of wrong directions. Sianz, reach Yishun SAFRA, and found out the gift is out of stock. Wasted trip.

AL and me went ahead to Ang Mo Kio to get a birthday cake for Ji Liang. We planned to surprise him by bringing the birthday cake in front of him when he's doing a certain stunt. Forgot the name of the stunt though.

Later went to order chicken rice takeaways and bring it to wushu area and eat it. After warm-ups. AL and I went to take the birthday cake, and seriously, we make a mistake of wearing our training attire. Seriously attract too much attention. Those buggers (pai kia) try to ji siao us. They thought we are younger than them...how...amusing...Anyway, just pretend that we didn't hear them. Seriously, no point trying to get into a tussle with them, problems will arise from it. One of them pat on AL and start asking questions like teaching him how to fight. Our reply was we just take it as a sport and we are lousy. Anyway, I will never teach someone like that to fight, and they only put the skills into wrong use.

If possible, will never wear the wushu training attire and walk around like this again.

Call Xinge and ask her to ask JL to do the stunt. Then we came up quickly and show JL the cake, while saying happy birthday. He got stunned for around 10 seconds, a confuse look on his face. Lol...all of us sure have fun. But fun had to stop...cause time for training again.

After ji ben and bian da quan, was my turn to teach zhicong, the little kid who join us. Hard to teach...he keep getting distracted and perhaps in his mind, he thought i'm playing with him.

Revise on da peng quan and mei hua kun. Then learn jiu huan da dao and revise on shuang dao and practice up on dui da. Not enough time to practice xiao mei hua quan. ZzZzZ...

Most likely, i'll try to turn up at wushu area at 7.30pm, all prepared to start training. Will try to tell everyone about it, see what they says.

Shishu had an idea to try to boost our morale to train harder, to improve by leaps and bounds. His idea was that every wai woo anniversary dinner, there will be an internal competition between us, whereby the best performer will be awarded a medal. Will also tell the others about it, and perhaps get back to him next week and tell him about the comments we have.

Got back home at 12.45am. Tired...eat up, bath and went to sleep.

2nd day of year 07

Today, try to go cineleisure to watch "A night at the museum again". People present only got me, AL and JL. Xinge is with her group of friends. As we decided to make a trip to SAFRA, either yishun or mt faber later, al decided to drive his car to Orchard. Sure is a stressed up situation. First time driving to orchard. We don't know the way and the traffic there is very fucked up. While on the move, had to read the map and find a route damn fast. Finally reach Orchard at 1.20pm. Missed the 1.15pm movie, and the 2.40pm movie tickets were sold out. Out of luck perhaps.

Went over to e2 at 9th storey again and played WWE vs RAW 2007( xbox360 version) again. JL paid in full this time round. AL and I only paid for the extra controller. Went to eat lunch after that. After lunch, went over to e2 at 9th storey again (for the 2nd time) to meet up with xinge for awhile and play table soccer. Sure have fun.

After that, decided to went over to SAFRA yishun. Xinge was also going there, but her dad came over to fetch her, so she didn't join us. My turn to drive. Drove over to the exit, and that barrier don't wanna open. Found out that the parking fee is $11.90 and my cashcard only got $8+. Had to reverse the car, find a parking lot, then find a place to top up cashcard. At 1st, when to the hotel lobby near the car-park, try the top-up machine, but it can't seems to scan my NETS card to top up the cashcard. Went over to cheers but they don't provide the service. End up going back to the hotel lobby. At this point of time, i'm angry...sianz...depress. As a result of my anger, i swipe the NETS card at a faster speed, and well...the machine manage to approve the card. Went back to the car, and i decided not to go SAFRA anymore. Felt so sianz already. Anyway, have decided that if there is really a need to have a car while travelling to orchard, then drive, if not...take public transport. The car park fees are a killer...

JL, went over to meet Huiying at Marina Bay, while AL and me make our way home. As usual, orchard traffic was fucked up, and both of us were stress up, due to the fact that i have to drive carefully and try not to miss any route we set and AL had to make sure that the route we go is correct.

Well...here i am...feeling sianz that i'm booking in later...but i'll look forward to this saturday again.

I realise i forgot to thank my friends who supported me when I'm in sianz...hahaha...

Alvin, my best buddy, Yong Kang, secondary school friend

Wushu buddies, Ji Liang, Minyee, Xinge, Yao de, Keith,

and anyone whom i forgot to mention.

Thanks...

I...will do my best to be optimistic when i'm in army...

( Just to let you all know...my phone is on 24 hours, so if feeling bored...feel free to sms me, but will take time to reply back...=) )

Beginning of the year...

1st Jan, 1st day of the year, me, AL, Xinge, JL, met up to watch movie. Minyee and Raymond Shi Xiong wasn't free to join us. Hmm, forgot to call Yao De, Keith along....

Anyway, before the "movie thingy", went over to kinokuniya to look at the different types of books available there. Books which interest me and AL are how to read body languages, and things regarding how a men and a lady thinks. Maybe might get a book and read up on it when i believe i have the time to read. Or else, i'll just be throwing away my money.

Met up with Xinge at around 8pm. Was intending to watch the movie, "A night at the museum" but, too bad, tickets were sold out. End up playing WWE vs RAW 2007 (xbox360 version) at e2 which is located at the 9th storey of cineleisure. Cost us $10. After the game, played table-soccer. While AL, Xinge and me enjoyed the table-soccer more, JL was the only one who prefer WWE vs RAW 2007 instead.

Went home at around 11pm. Chatted up with friends online till 1am or 2am,which i don't kinda remember, then went to sleep.
