East coast cycling on a sunday afternoon. Weather sure is fine. Weather itself has its own mood swings, and it can be seen that it changes quickly that to some, they won't expect rain to come.

Days before we go on this mini cycling trip, AL and JL ask what i plan to do on sunday. I suggest, maybe we'll go cycling. On saturday, JL suggest sentosa. We reject that idea, and few hours later, the idea of east coast was brought up.

Sunday, i receive a sms from JL that to meet at east coast at 2pm. Since i got nothing better to do, ok, we'll go. Al come and fetch me and I contact yd and ch while on the way to yd's house. JL's side, he brought along jj, jj's sis(Yunling a.k.a YL) and jj's sis friend(angeline).

Reach east coast. Realise that out of the 8 of us. 4 knows how to cycle. We spent time discussing on who should pair up with who. It sure is frustrating as everyone don't seems to bother to cooperate with me and AL. JL even want to rent a solo bike to chiong alone, end up being scolded by us for not thinking about the other 4 non-riders. Anyway, 4 tandem bikes(double-seated bikes) were rented. 3 adult ones, 1 child one. As JL were too rough, the girls were afraid to pair with him. So, jj pair with him in the end.

Along the way, JL's bike develop problems. Had to get my hands dirty by fixing the bike chain onto the gear tooth a couple of times. Used to the dirt, but must remember to wash my hands properly before I eat.

Rested over at the cable water ski area. Taught JJ and YD how to ride bike. JJ learnt it faster, YD, almost there. Well, time to head back to return the bikes. JJ decided to give it a try and give his sis a lift. He start off wobbling and verring left and right, his sis scream. Decided to ask CH to pair up with JJ as CH knows how to ride, and to spared our ears from high-pitched screams..=p. Results turn out to be the same as high-pitch screams were heard from CH. In the end, CH commandeer the bike, while JJ sits behind. We rush back as it started to rain. I turn kinda rough as i speed up. Angeline's slippers flies off and had to stop the bike and pick the slippers for her. Had to stop a couple of time later as the bike I took had problems.

Near the bike rental shop. Saw a chaotic scene. Realise CH buang a bike at the opposite lane, then buang another at the same lane. Al couldn't stop in time, buang CH's bike. I couldn't stop in time either, siam here and there to dodge the other bike, and end up veering into the opposite lane and siam bikes again. Dangerous stunts...zzz.. Well, no choice, everyone were rushing and everyone wanna return the bikes and get out of the rain.

All 8 of us were drenched. Run from shelter to shelter to find a comfortable spot. In the end, chose subway. Ordered some bread, wait for rain to stop. While YL and Angeline was away, JL told us he wanna get cake for YL, as her b'day is around the corner or on the day itself. He told us of the shop, but cannot provide the exact location. In the end, Al, me and JJ will go get the cakes while YD and JL keep the girls company. CH had to leave the group to join her mum who was also at east coast.

Thanks to both JL and YD's mouth, i guess the surprise plan was given away. AL, JJ and me go to AL's car and we set off to buy cake. JL gave a reason that 3 of us are looking for toilet. At marine parade, JJ told us actually, JL don't even know whether the shop exist, he only heard that there's a shop at the marine parade area. Pissed Al and I off, but nevertheless, we are out, and a job has to be done. My guess is he guess there will be cake shop out in marine parade, the rest we have to help him settle. Everything is so last minute. Yd had the cheek to scold vulgarities at me cause we took quite some time. Pissed me off to greater heights. Nice try. We had to find cake shops around the area, instead of thanking us, i kena the vulgarities. Nevertheless, my guess is that he got excited, so he can control what he says. Well, i told myself, keep it cool, finish the job, deliver the cake back. Bought a black forest cake from polar.

Went back to the mcdonald carpark at east coast. Waited for them there. Realise there are no serviette nor lighter. Al go get serviette from mcdonald while i go buy lighter from 7-11 which cost $1.10. How "cheap"... >.<

The girls came by and we sang happy b'day song to YL. After we ate the cakes, time to go home.
JL told everyone that Al and I planned everything, which start to piss both of us off again. Why point the finger at us when we did nothing.

Anyway, JL told the girls that he'll blanja cab, while AL and I suggest we ferry them back and make 2 trips. Going by Al's car will be much easier and a bit economical than taking a cab. We even had to tell JL that cab fares are not like the past. $2.80 for the starter fees if you took the manual tranmission cabs, and $3 for automatic transmission cabs. 20 cents for every jump. At least we told JL and now he knows about it. Al was thinking that if JL had so much money, why JL didn't return him. This piss AL off. I guess it's not about the money, it's more on the trust. Ya gotta the money, return it. Perhaps this is what my view is.

Al gotta drive, so left 4 seats. YL and Angeline took the other 2. Cannot ask JJ to stay so left 1 more. AL needs me to be navigator in the unknown terrains so no more seats. I'm sure JL wanna go home with the girls, but, nothing we can do as the arrangement we made is the most perfect we can get. I ask JL whether he can read map, he say yes. AL knew he couldn't trust JL on reading maps so he still ask for me to tag along. Ok, i decided to go cause recent experience had prove that JL hum thump things one. Consequences are time wastage, fuel wastage, 2nd trip party had to wait longer, thus piss off. Fuel wastage results in money wastage as well.

Well, we went towards serangoon. After the flyover, receive a call from yd, saying JL sit down and sulk, then storm off, going home on his own while leaving YD alone.

Went back to pick up YD after sending JJ,YL and Angeline home. Stay around at YD's home for awhile before going home.

Damn it JL. You are turning 17 yrs old next week. Please grow up mentally and don't piss us off anymore.

Don't know say don't know. No one is perfect, i'm not either. There are things i don't know as well.

And think before you act. This serves as a reminder to me as well.

I'm starting to get annoyed with JL's actions. But nevertheless, as a senior, i have to guide him. I'll find time, grabbed AL along and have a nice chat with him.

Been some time since i blog...

The month of dec 07, comes as no surprise to me, with lots of stuff to handle. Remaining public holidays burned for this year.

Firstly will be my job, can't talk much about it. Secondly, my desire to get that xbox360, causes me to calculate my financial reserves and make a decision out of it. In the end, went off to order xbox360 elite from a mass order online. Have to thanks joe for helping out with the transaction. In total, $638 was gone from my bank account. I'll be waiting for news to collect my xbox360.

Thirdly, my father ask me what i wanted to do after NS, which simply struck me damn hard that i really start to look into this matter. I had close down my choices to either studying in NUS, or working out in SIA Engineering Company(SIAEC). Of course, if my choice end up with studying in NUS, then i decide whether to continue with electrical & electronics, or venture into business, maybe business admin/accountancy or so. This however will need to see whether i'm still eligible for a good offer with SIAEC even after as a graduate in a degree with electrical & electronics. If not, i'll also reconsider whether to spent an extra 1 year to do business if i'm able to get in as well.

For now, i have liaise with a friend working in SIAEC. As AL was also interested in some updates over the amount of years of training and bond, we'll meet this friend of ours for lunch, most likely after christmas. Due to the fact that while talking to shi xiong's friend back on saturday, who happens to be our junior from our diploma course, we manage to get a little updates on the some stuff about our exemptions and number of years needed to be bonded with SIAEC if we did join them. And thus, during the discussion, some questions pop out which needs to be answered.

Much issues had been settled ever since, less the one which conerns my future. I hope to get the answers i want before 2008 begins.
