Busy saturday(1/2)

Today...9 September, was the birthday of my best friend AL, who is 20 years old, and the birthday of my young cousin, Yi Siang, who will be 7 years old. Happy birthday!! Wishing AL good health and have the chance of getting a gf soon. For my cousin, wishing him good health and all the best for his studies.

Early afternoon slack at home. Was about to go my aunt's house when my mp3 playlist got corrupted. Was angry and sianz. Had to settle the music as i don't want to be alone outside without music. Can say that music is my companion.

Around 5pm, we wait for my aunt(Yi Siang's mum), to drive us over to her house. Thought she would be driving my cousin's Toyota Wish MPV. But she drove my 2nd uncle's Nissan Cefiro, guess around 1.7,1.8. What's worse, the car was already fulled. In total, There were 6 adults, 1 teen and 1 kid. 8 persons squeezing in a 5 seater car. We took our seats at first, and the people on the backseats, including me was so uncomfortable. In the end, drove to a nearest bus-stop to re-adjust sitting positions. My 6th uncle(Hui Lan's dad) took the front seat, with me as a driver. My aunt(Yi Siang's mum), my mum, sis, Hui Lan, HuiLan's mum and Yi Siang took the backseat. While driving, I was on the look-out for traffic police. They spotted me, i gonna get booked.

Kinda fun to drive my 2nd uncle's car. It's a Nissan Sunny, with automatic transmission. Not very adept at driving automatic transmission as i always touch manual car(AL's Toyota Soluna). Nevertheless, it still requires driving skills but with the exception of needing to shift gears and the clutch system.Handbrake was surprisingly, a foot pedal, around the area of where the clutch would be if it's a manual transmission car. My cousin, Yi Siang keep ka jiao me, had to told him to stop it. Was concentrating on driving and i still need more experience and judgement.

Reach Yi Siang's house. Damn, had problems going carpark, the car was already a big one. Wonder how will i settle it if i were to drive a Toyota Camry 2.4...

1 hour later, was called to go out and drive my 2nd uncle's car to fetch my cousin, Guo Dong. Find myself having problems dealing with navigating in tight places.

Went back to Yi Siang's house. Ate dinner. Then drive out again with my cousin Guo Dong, to Marsiling MRT Station, so as to drop myself off there. Have a chat with him while driving.

2020hrs. Reach Marsiling MRT station. Decided to take a cab down to Ang Mo Kio. Cause if i take MRT, would reach at a later time, decreasing the amount of time available to train.

I find automatic transmission, having problems accelerating fast while cruising at around 40km/h and above. Always had to floor the accelerator, hear the sound of that engine. Wonder how much fuel is eaten. Was also wondering whether the engine life will drop. However, for manual transmission, can lower gear, accelerate, think would be must faster, and i don't think the engine sound can be that loud, compared to that of the automatic transmission.

Nevertheless, driving is fun. My mum said that if i wanted to rent car, i could ask my 2nd uncle whether i can borrow his car. =D

My relatives and I seldom get to gather, with the exception of Chinese New Year. If there's no wushu, will stay at Yi Siang's house to chat longer with my relatives. Maybe if there's chance, we must also try to gather, so as to improve relations as well.

Oh ya, found out that my 6th uncle(Hui Lan's dad) is capable of being a driving instructor. Haha...
